Each source I used had issues I needed to deal with. There were very small pieces between some songs that were missing, a slight imbalance of the channels as well as a vast difference in pitch. I corrected everything.
After I had the first track done I began a long series of test mixes.I can usually find a nice blend of sources after just a few tests. In this case, over the course of several days, there were nearly ten. The last mix of volume and EQ gave me the results I wanted. All that was left was to complete the matrix of the sources, a tedious process of discovery were my reward for hours of work becomes the chance to hear a unique recording for the first time, ever.
On this evening Pink Floyd performed a stunning show. Gilmour's work on the guitar is exceptionally nice, full of drama and emotion. More than 12 years have passed since this concert and during that time I never regretted missing several shows Pink Floyd played in my area during the 1994 tour. Now it's obvious that I missed something special.
