::: Non-audiophile but quite fine tho' somewhat distant AUD. Check samples for assimilation estimation or eardrum flashbacks.
::: Warts: Taper cut off deck between some songs. #2 taper lowered mike or? #13 cut in middle - tapeflip? Some hiss & distance. Surely missed some dropouts & dullspots, but I worked on 'em. Left channel mike had issues, seemingly with drums, some weird noises at times.
::: Sounds like there were very few people in the club. Plus they seem a bit shellshocked after some songs!
::: No guarantee song titles are correct & some are missing, so have at it & likewise with the band line-up.

Recording Information ::: unknown stereo cassette recorder & microphone(s) -> master stereo audience cassette tape -> 1st generation cassette -> 2nd generation Maxell XLII-90 cassette, Dolby B on.

Playback 2012-07-30 ::: 2nd generation Maxell XLII-90 cassette on Nakamichi BX-300 cassette deck, Dolby B on, azimuth & pitch adjusted, heads cleaned & demagnatized -> Tascam CD-RW900SL pro CD recorder -> CD-RW -> computer, EAC secure -> wavs.

Remastering 2014-08-xx ::: wavs -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, +.75 averaged speed fix with single pass after spectral analysis & with pitchpipe verification, NO equalisation] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. First uploaded week of 2014-08-30.

Line-up (unconfirmed, but think 3 guitarists - not 5!) ::: Eric Stumpo - electric guitar, vocals // Deborah De Marco - keyboards, vocals // Evan Williams - electric guitar // John De Vault - electric guitar // Tom Champlin(?) - electric guitar // Michael Ripa(?) - guitar, vocals, percussion // John Florence - electric bass, percussion // Steven Andersen or Michael Meehan - drums.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

DimeTravel 060 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! ::: Corrections welcome ::: This was worth working on since there are relatively few early Plan 9 tapes circulating & they were a powerhouse. I love the full band early sound - they are f'ing going for it. Musicians keep speeding things up, jumping the beat & pushing things to new heights. Tremendously dense, heavy psychedelia. This band had few rivals at the time. Among many special things about the evening, the jamming in "Looking At You" is particularly freeform & wonderfully demented. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yers truly, Knees
