::: Very fine stereo AUD that just needs a tad more bass. Check samples for quality control and/or brainf**k potential.
::: Warts: Occasional shifts in sound/volume/high end from people crossing mike path or mike motion. Some taper knob twiddling (repaired much of it). Bit of capstan? cyclical noise during a couple of spots (NOT really problematic).
::: Touring to support their very fine new piece o' wax, "Keep Your Cool And Read The Rules"
::: Taper label was Gainesville "Hogsbreath Club" but presumably 'twas "Hog's Breath Saloon". Anyone remember the Gainesville location?
::: Sounds like there were not too many people in the club...
::: If you know the missing song titles, please do advise.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

Turn up the bass and let Plan 9 blow yer mind... Very fine quality audience recording with almost no audience participation on the tape. 1985 was definitely the year for the resurgence of genuine psychedelic music. This one is stellar. Always thought it a real shame they didn't make it much bigger. If their album "Dealing With The Dead" isn't in your collection, you haven't really started collecting records yet. "I Like Girls" indeed. Layered psychedelic music of the deeepest kind and in their early years and what could you do but be fascinated by a band with multiple guitars! It left one's head a twirlin'. I only got to see them about about 4 times, but it was always varied and interesting. Eric Stumpo sometimes seemed like a man in need of a happy pill but he shoulda been a psych god - great voice & super fantastic guitar tone & songwriting skills. But as always, when I listen intently, I want to put the Stumpo tracks together & be transported. The guy is the yolk in the egg. More than almost any band, these guys will remind you of what it felt like to step outta time & crack your shell in the mid-80s. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yers truly, Knees
