Contrast clause:
This recording here is from the same concert as my previous upload on dime, link: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=458748.
But it is from an FM source (probably German radio station HR3) whereas the other torrent is an audience recording.

Tape of unknown generation from a Radio Show. Thanks to SEETHEFUZZ7 for digitalizing it from tape and sending it to me.
Rec. Info:
Cassette of unknown generation -> transfer via Nakamichi tapedeck DR3 -> wav-file -> wetransfer -> Magix Music Cleaning Lab (edit/remaster) -> FLAC (44,1 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo) -> DIME
Ex- sound, some minor EQ was made (treble a bit lifted), levels adjusted and some gaps removed. The last track fades out and is cut by the radio signal.
I was very positively surprised when this tape surfaced in the SEETHELIGHT7/SEETHEFUZZ7 collection. I never realized back in 1985 that this concert was broadcast live.
So it's great to have it now in such a good sound even if the radio broadcast is missing the last song of the concert and the final song on the tape is faded out.
Again the copy of the ticket stub is attached.
Here is the text from the upload of the audience tape:

Again a band with little success but a great song material and live presence. It's great show and the band is giving some encores.
Funny thing at the end of track 14 after several calls for Louie Louie they start to play it as funeral march.
They formed already in the 70's but released their first album in 1984 (Friday The 13th (Live At The Marquee)).
The band's studio stuff (some singles and an album) couldn't quite cope with their live performances.
It is not easy to categorize the band. Their style is spreading from psychedelic to mod but always with this strong emphasis on vocals by 2 lead singers.
Not much to be found in the net about them with some exceptions. There is a nice magazine article attached here (don't know which mag). And sadly the lead
vocalist Craig Lindsey has died in 2009.
Another link I found is a movie (on youtube) about the psychedelic/mod revival in the 80's. Playn Jayn are named but I don't think they appear in the movie.
But anyway as The Times get a big feature here it is:

The ticket stub is attached. It states the German band Pseiko Lde Und Die Astros as opener of the night but I haven't recorded them.
