The Taper's Note is the following;

The Pogues will be playing Avalon in Boston this weekend.
Twenty years ago Avalon was The Metro.
This show featues the late great Joe Strummer on guitar (and vocals
on two songs). A VERY loud, wild and rowdy crowd actually ADDS to
this live recording. The Joe Strummer segment is one of my favorite
live music memories of all time.

Recording the Pogues at a very crowded club in Boston at their peak
is not an easy task, so there are some problems:
Tracks 01 and 11 are in mono due to mic cord issues.
They played "Maggie May" last, but by that time the mics
shorted out completely.
There is quite a bit of audince noise (in a charming sort of way)
Recorded with Sony D6 and Nakamichi CM300s
transfered on Sony stand alone
EAC / WAV / Flac level 8
