unknown lineage - from a CDR received in a trade (extracted to WAV and converted to FLAC with xACT)
This unusual concert came about after Pogues singer Shane MacGowan was hospitalized with pneumonia only hours before showtime. The remaining Pogues split the vocal duties among themselves and guest Elvis Costello.
Sound quality is less than stellar, and the audience is often noisy. I recommend checking the sound samples before you download. If anyone has a better version of this show, please post it.
Artwork from the Elvis Costello Home Page is included. Unfortunately, the only person depicted on the artwork is the absent Shane MacGowan!
On this night The Pogues were:
Spider Stacy, Cait O'Riordan, Jem Finer, James Fearnley, Andrew Ranken, Philip Chevron, and Terry Woods.
Thanks to the unknown taper.
