All thanks already said on the previous SPACELORDS post. So, let's just dive in deep into the strange cosmos of the POLYTOXI...
Well, my votes for the "best" band of the weekend goes straight to these Frankfurt based band. A rare apprearance of them outside their hometown. As much as I'd love to see
them more frequently, THEY DON'T TOUR. A downer for all you afficinadoes of their sound, but - hey - took me about three years to finally catch a show of them. And, of course,
the taping machine was running, too. You can be lucky to listen to this, as I was melting away during their show!
So, what is so special about this band? If you like the mid 70's Zappa sound, combined with heavy guitar eruptions and vibrating spacerock, jumping on some Softmachine kind of jazzrock
feeling, mixed up well with weird female singing, you are at the gates of the great POLYTOXI. Isn't that unique on this planet? Think so.
