This is an interesting story to say the least. I flew down to New Orleans for Jazz Fest. I deplaned and rented
a car, and drove over to the Maple Leaf to record Outformation. I heard PBS was playing at the Southeastern Music
Hall at about the same time.It was Thursday of Jazz Fest. I set up at the Maple Leaf and hit record. After about 30
minutes, I umped inmy rental and headed to Southport, only a mile away! Never been, so I parked and walked in. As I
walked through the porch, they had a Crawfish Boil going on. Hardly anyoe was eating as they were inside. I grabbed
the soundboard feed and plugged in my trusty D-8, as they were about to start. I hit record and after one song,
my levels were perfect! I ten had some hunger business to take care of on the porch! I had a big table where they
dumped a fresh pot of Crawfish, Sausage, Potatoes, and Corn on the Cobb! I was in HEAVEN! I ate as much as I could for
30 minutes as I listened to some of the funkiest music! Suck the Head, and Squeeze the Tip! My hands were all
spicy and red, as was my face. I was gorged and satisfied. I went back to the Maple Leaf and caught the end of the
Outformation set. I broke down my gear, said goodbye to Sam and the crew, and headed back to Southport and caught the last
30 minutes of PBS! Somewhere in between, I steered Chip Schram to the music. I was staying with Michelle D in Metarie
and had not even checked in yet! I called and asked her if Chip could crash on her couch in the Patio, no sweat.

As for this set, it is wonderful and sounds great. I pulled it off a hard drive after 15 years! I always thought
George was at his funkiest with PBS. Give this a spin and see for yourself!
