Power Station (Robert Palmer + Duran) - Club Quattro, Nagoya, Japan 5 Dec 1996

I seeded a Robert Palmer show by request, and this was on the same backup disc.

Looks like there is a discrepency as to whether or not this is Robert Palmer singing. Please see the comments listed below from when I downloaded the torrent. Whatever - it sounds good to me.

Yes, as far as I know, Palmer sang at the few gigs they did to promote Living in Fear. He certainly did the one small gig in London that they did - I was there....

Robert Palmer DID tour for this album with them. This is NOT from the first PS tour where he cancelled due to illness. A google search would reveal this. This is one of two shows available from THIS 1996 tour. I have the other one....it's a stateside show.

THANKS big for this. I've always enjoyed this band.

Is Robert Palmer truly on vocals? They had someone else perform live... right? Did Robert ever perform live with Power Station.

I did listen to this show, and it's defo not Robert Palmer... I'm quite sure it's Michael Des Barres.

Good stuff none the less.

I have had this concert for over a year and I think it is Palmer...I heard another concert from TPS on wolfgangs vault and DesBArres is singing and it does not sound like this at all...I vote that this is robert palmer on voc and not mike des barres...any way we can get this proved?? anyone been to this show??

I have a DVD boot of The Power Station from The House of Blues in Chicago, '97 promoting Living in Fear and it is the mighty vocal of Robert Palmer driving the band. I'm downloading this now, once I've listened I will be able to confirm who is singing here.

It's Robert Palmer.
