A couple of years ago I uploaded the first 4 songs from this collection as torrent 308073 as one of my earliest Prefab Sprout uploads to Dime. A little while later I noted that that transfer ran a little slow, and eventually borrowed the source tape again having recalibrated my tape deck, but never circulated the results. Having learned a little in the intervening period, I resisted the temptation to use cheapo Audacity noise removal, and the transfer is all the better for that. Just a little bit of left/right level correction for Bonny.

Added to those songs are two sets of linked material from cassettes that were circulated during the same period and which I believe are soundboard recordings from the Soul Kitchen in Newcastle. These were at least one generation later than the first tape, so a little more hissy. The last three songs were appended to JosefK's recording of the 1984 ICA gig recently uploaded to Dime incidentally and transferred at the same time, so many thanks to him.
