My first time seeing The Pretenders and admittedly was not too familiar with them,
or so I thought. I felt like every other song or so, I knew it. One of my faves
of the night was "Vainglorious", which turns out is a new song, ha! "My City Was
Gone" was most definitely a highlight as was "Back On The Chain Gang". "I'll Stand
By You" was the one song going in I knew, so that was cool to hear. If anyone read
my notes for my Mammoth recording, I had some heat exhaustion after their set, so
I went to the concourse for some water and to relax. When I went to get back on
the field for The Pretenders, security made me walk a different way of which I
exited the field, and found myself in a long line down by home plate. I rushed
back to the pit and by the time I had my hat on, the first song was almost over.
Sorry about that. I thought this set turned out the nicest of all 3 I taped that
night. Turn it up!

Opening for Foo Fighters. Mammoth WVH were also on the bill. [both recorded].
