Recorded by yours truly @ 2 meters from stage edge left side (taper's corner!). System sound wasn't too fine with some bursts of volume here an there, but at least almost no
chatters audible. Maybe the mixing guy Kilian needed a bit of time to "groove in" for the festival. Anyway, not a bad recording, but also not my best. Some spacy pics are included.

as all of us SEVEN showed up (a real rare occurance!), our dear friend and taper master Rendel (for sweet talks and devasting the hotel suites aftershow!), dear Harrie The Fox,
another relaxed taper whom I met for the first (but definitely not the last) time (Herzberg 2016, hurrah!), Juergen and Birgit from Nuernberg, the Duna Jam guys, the big crew from
Erfurt and other "old Herzberg warriors on the edge of space" for fantastic talks.. THANKS FROM MY HEART TO YOURS...
Statistics:
Admission fee: 47 Euros - only a two-day ticket was available. Sold out long before. 150 tix only.
Catering: Kesselring Pilsener/Landbier 0,33 ltr. at each 2,10 Euros. Latter was more tasty, but sold out early as usual at second night. No food. But chinese and turkish food temples
at walking distance of 5 minutes...and a great cellar "Brauhaus" within three minutes walk. Gorgeous homebrew beer. As the
Sleeping: 90 Euros for 2 nights with breakfast on the second morning. Nice suite with a living room, sofa, big table and...sorry...no turntable...
Parking fee: 16 Euros per car for app. 60 hours, directly at the hotel...
Addiction: Record Store "H2o" with tons of fabulous vinyl within 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Could've spent all my savings there...

After some tapes with the countdown to PSYCHEDELIC NETWORK FESTIVAL # 8, here's my first recorded band. Due to traffic jam and check-in to the hotel, I was a bit late for the opening sequence of
spheric space music by dear Horst and the great Ax Genrich. Yeah, I�know that their short set had be taped as well, so I did not waste my feet and mind to hurry up. As I had arrived at the
lovely old building where Cafe Cairo (a youth and meeting centre) immediately I went to "the usual place for tapers", which is located to the left side facing the stage.
And...on with the show...and to my (and only my personal) disappointment, this show was rather boring. Sorry to say, but I've always had a problem with the two drums/guitar/effects thing.
A third member on bas duties would've added a bit more depth and variations on the sound. Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood, but these two guys from Saarbruecken, Germany,
will offer you music which sounds like the legendary Spacemen3 where caught in an amost flooded cabin at the Mississippi delta. Nothing more, nothing less. Hope you like it. SB.
