I had some plans to perhaps catch 4 shows in the first week of the tour, but life happened. Alas, I skipped KC because I was unsure I would get a complete recording of Primus. I went up to Cedar Rapids with a buddy of mine and was not disappointed. It also was not lost on me that Rush had played half of the album Primus played this night in this particular building in 1979. This was originally supposed to be at McGrath Amphitheatre, but was moved the day of the show to the Alliant Energy Powerhouse. A good thing too, because my guess is that this show would have been cancelled if it could not have been moved (it had rained quite a bit the night before and was colder than usual for this time of year). I put a high pass filter on this and the mix you hear is the mix I heard at the show on this night.
