Notes
I wanted to do something ambitious but after transferring the tapes over I had misgivings about
the sound quality. As this show hasn't been circulated in its entirety maybe someone will know of a
better source. Other that the BTO and Steppenwolf sets that were filmed, I have never come across
anything else. The first all day concert I went to and it was stinking hot! For most of the afternoon
I recorded from the lawn laying down on a blanket with my cheap recorder and tie pin microphone
just sitting on the grass. I may have missed a band or two and some sets aren't complete. I just ran tape for posterity. At one point I stuck the mic in a Dixie cup and aimed it at the speakers in order to get away from people talking around me. Needless to say that didn't work out to well. Also Five Man and Rare Earth came on after Big Brother so the sequencing is out of order. I already did the fingerprints and labelling so it was too late to change. Not that it will make any difference. Hopefully some people will enjoy this upload and maybe provide the missing song titles. theklopeks
