Queen
Tokyo, Japan
Nippon Budokan
April 19, 1975
This is NOT the Budokan Hall 1975 show partially released on DVD - that is the May 1 show. This is Queen's first ever show in Japan a couple weeks earlier.
This is a merge of two sources to nearly complete the show. For decades an incomplete recording of this date was heard on a bootleg LP called "A Beautiful Album", and here an alternate audience source fills in the gaps.
* Source 1 - "A Beautiful Album" silver > WAV (GoldWave speed correction on side A) > FLAC level 8
** Source 2 - as below, but with the volume increased to 130% (in both channels on disc 1, but only in the right channel on disc 2)
Source : AUD -> Master cassette (Columbia C120SP low noise cassette tape)
Transferred : Tape -> ? -> MiniDisc (Victor MD-80QX5)(ATRAC comppression) -> Sony CMT-M333NT Micro System -> Yamaha Pocketrack W24 pocket recorder (recorded with '16bit/44.1kHz recording mode') -> Fujitsu FMV - BIBLO NF75W/V notebook computer -> WAV
Lineage : WAV -> Track Splitting (SoundEngine Free) -> FLAC level 8 (Trader's Little Helper) ->Tagging (SuperTagEditor)
Recorded and transferred (from tape to MiniDisc) by Quicksilver
Transferred (from MiniDisc to PC), track splitted, encoded and tagged by Masahiko
