This fine show has surely been up here before, and there is a 2 part video share of this from 2016 that's still active. That video is in 2 parts, and has some different track names for what I've listed here as Red Roof and The Journey Home. I got my copy in an old snail mail trade and it was billed as an FM. Not sure if the audio did originate there or from a video broadcast of the same show.
In any case, Towner recorded 2 ECM albums in the mid to late 70's with these musicians, Solstice and Sound and Shadows. ECM put together some wonderful pairings of players back around this time, and this is arguably a 1970's ECM "supergroup". The material is interesting too in that there are a couple of Garbarek compositions (Red Roof and Ripple), a movie theme, and Keith Jarrett's wonderful The Journey Home. That song had just recently appeared on Jarrett's My Song album that included Garbarek and Christensen. Towner's piano playing on it is verification once again of what an amazing musician Ralph Towner really is.
Thanks to the trader who made this available to me, and to whoever recorded the show. Please support these musicians by paying to see them perform and by purchasing their commercially released material.
