This one is fer RAMONESFOREVER, all others, take heed…
It would hardly be fair of me to request that ya liberate all yer Butthole Surfers rarities if I was gonna hold on to my recordings, so here is this completely uncirculated Ramones show…
There is a reason I held on to this one fer so long, however…it’s a tad rough. But, the miracle of azimuth correction really helped this recording out, and it really ain’t as bad as I originally thought it was…
Still, if yer not a hardcore Ramones fan, ya make wanna skip this…I left 3 samples, as always, fer you to decide. While the dynamics on this one aren’t the best…or even THERE, fer the most part, ya may still enjoy it…who am I to say…I’ll seed it and let you decide…and at least let this one get into the hands of a man who archives one of the greatest rock bands ever…Kudos, my good man!
Joey says ‘It’s great to be here at the California Club, but the place was called Club California this week…it changed names a buncha times…it was Industry fer a while…South Beach fer a spell…I don’t know what it is now, or even if it’s still there…
October 13th is Arturo Vega’s birthday, and the band is in pretty fine spirits…busting out “Needles and Pins” fer the first time in a long time and dedicating “Blitzkrieg bop” to him.
I think I unplugged the mic during the encore break…the tape still ran, but there is silence…I left it on here and just tracked to silence out to leave the show in real time…just imagine a bunch of drunk goons screaming their heads off…or better yet…get drunk and scream yer own head off…
Anywho…
Enjoy but, please!
