I attended & taped this show so I'll relay as much info
as I can recall. It was the night before Halloween and the
venue was well-stocked but not packed. Social Distortion
opened for the Ramones and I was not overly impressed. I
thought that the lead singer thought that he was a badass
and who knows ; maybe he was but I didn't care. They played
for ~ 45 minutes IIRC and after a brief intermission the
Ramones came on. All there were true fans and the place went
nuts. It was only the 2nd time that I had seen the band and
I was stoked. They played for ~ 67 minutes and the show was
fantastic. IIRC the pinhead came on carrying his "Hey Gabba
Gabba" sign during the last song and ran around the stage ;
it was hilarious. I sat in the Lower Mezzanine, Section 1,
Row A, seat 106 and my seat was great. First row, lower
balcony with NOBODY in front of me. The sound is very clear
but the sound quality sometimes changes a little during
certain songs. I stayed put so I guess the soundman was
messing around just a bit. The vocals are sometimes very
hard to understand but this IS the Ramones and Joey RIP with
his 300 mile-an-hour delivery so what the hell. All instruments
sound clear to me. The author Stephen King was supposedly in
the first row on the floor (he was, IIRC, making a cross-country
motorcycle trip solo in 1992) and you'll hear Joey mention this
clearly on the recording. In conclusion, this recording should
be virtually uncirculated. I gave it to only about 3 people
but if you the reader have a copy, now you have a DEFINITE FIRST
GEN edition. So wave it in front of your friends tauntingly and
make them beg for it. HA HA HA. I hope that you enjoy the show
and let me know what you think. This show is rare IMHO so have
fun with it. Post all the Ramones that you have and if you have
the Halloween Chicago, IL show (the night after this one),
PLEASE post it regardless of SQ. Welllllllll, that's about all
that I have to report so let's get this show on the path to
spiritual enlightenment. And Stephen King, if you happen to read
this, I hope you get a copy too. Happy Mother's Day to all !!!

Finally, please don't buy, sell or convert this show to mp3 or
any other lossy format. Please seed this as long as you can.
Please trade this freely as it is uncirculated, I think. This show
will be a welcome addition to any Ramones fan's collection. I will
post a sample to help some of you decide whether or not to get it.
The setlist should be 100% correct. I knew all titles but six. It
took me THREE HOURS of listening to samples and searching song lyric
websites to identify the last six. What a pain in the ass. So,
as Mr. Natural is so fond of saying, have fun, don't fall out of the
balcony and enjoy the concert ! Hey ho, let's go.......
