Quality - 9/10 excellent minus audience recording
IMHO, as always

25 tracks, one CD

TT: 51:47 There is some doubt as to whether this is indeed the ENTIRE concert.
If you were there and were sober enough to write down the setlist, please post
it here. I've looked on the internet for Ramones setlist info but haven't found
anything for this show. It seems to me that the boys usually played ~ 60 to 65
minutes for an entire concert, but who knows ; do you ? For sure ?

I was NOT present at this show. I bought this tape at a record show in either
Chicago or Milwaukee about 12 years ago. This description will be short and
sweet. Here is a brief synopsis of the recording, good points and bad...

Good points:

1) There is no hiss in this recording and also no distortion. There
are no speed problems or other faults to detract from your enjoyment
of the show.

2) The volume of the show is high. You'll have no problem hearing
the performance !

3) All instruments and vocals are clearly heard. Understanding all
of Joey's lyrics is another matter but most of them can be deciphered.

Bad points:

1) There is the usual motley crew of talking idiots present but they're
not TOO close to the taper. I.C. Light is (was ?) an outdoor venue with
assigned folding chair seats. The venue is right next to the river (I
forget which one). The taper was probably unable to move away from these
assclowns, so there you go. The music is so loud that they don't pose
very much of a problem. I rated this show as excellent minus because of
these assholes, though, because there is pretty much a steady stream of
background chatter and dumbass comments. It shouldn't really interfere
with your enjoyment of the show, however.

Well, that's about all that I can think of to say, so let's wrap this
up. Finally, please don't buy, sell or convert this show to mp3 or any
other lossy format. Please seed this as long as you can and please trade
this freely. This show will be a welcome addition to any Ramones fan's
collection. I will post a sample to help some of you decide whether or
not to get it. The setlist should be 100% correct. If it's not, let me
know. I spent quite a bit of time researching the correct titles for
about half a dozen of these songs by matching up lyrics with song titles
courtesy of various internet sites. Man, these guys wrote some really
fucked-up lyrics. Check it out if you will. Also watch the documentary
"The Ramones: End Of The Century" if you can find it on cable. It's a
great film but very sad. The Ramones made rock and roll history but never
really got paid for it and three of the original members died very young.
God Bless You Joey, Dee Dee and Johnny. RIP.

This is one of the final Ramones concerts. Three months and eleven days
later from this date, it was all over. So, as Mr. Natural is so fond of
saying, have fun, don't freak out and enjoy the show! Hey ho, let's go.......
