Comments:

There's probably someone with a better copy of this than what is here, although this is all

of NPR's Keystone Corner part of their 1978 New Year's Eve broadcast. The night started with a

Count Basie tribute set from the East coast of the U.S.A. That didn't do much for me at all,

but all of this is good and a comment posted on previous version of the Joe Henderson part of

this asking to hear OAND made me decide to share all three of these sets. I think they are all

very good sets. There is static in this version, especially in the 1st (McPherson) set. it's not

constant but too persistent for me to attempt to "repair" it. After Hubbard joins there is not

as much interference, (about an hour into this recording) If it was really bad I wouldn't bother

upping this, but most of what I have to share is better quality sound, and this is a very fine

night of jazz music here. I believe this is the world premiere for live Old and New Dreams. It's

a serious allstar lineup. Hope you all enjoy it.

Do not sell these recordings.
