This was promoted as Paul Simon's seventh annual Back to the Ranch benefit; tickets $35.

Ray Charles was the opening act, followed by James Brown.

The crowd is a bit chatty near the taper.

This appears to be the only recording from Ray's North American 1996 tour to surface. (that I'm aware of)

Any Audience tapes of Ray Charles are scarce. So if your a fan, you might want to grab this up.

I've included one photo from this concert in the torrent.

Recording notes:

In the very beginning on Track 01, from 0:17 to 3:36.

The right channel dropped completely out and i used the left channel to replace it.
