In my opinion, Dave Brock is the best singer Ray and
Robbie ever had (after Jim, of course).
Ian Astbury, Eddie Vedder and Miljenko Matijevic were ok,
but Dave Brock is something else. Nobody ever came so
close to Jim, I think. It's was just incredible, sometimes it really
felt like I was flying on a time machine back to the 60's.
The perfomance was very strong, and it was very obvious
that American rock'n'roll is not dead yet (even if Jim died
40 years ago).
