Source: WWOZ-FM > RadioShark v2.0.2 > Macintosh MacMini (2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) > aiff > Quicktime 7.6.3 (convert aiff to wav) > wav > flac v1.2.1 (linux command line; level 8 compression) > flac file

splice source (from mp3 online stream): WWOZ.org 128 kbps mp3 stream > RadioRecorder v1.07 > MacBook Pro (2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) > captured mp3 stream > > Quicktime 7.7 > (convert mp3 to wav/aiff) > aiff (excerpts edited into the main FM audio file)

Transfer: flac file (transferred by ftp from remote pc) > MacBook Pro (2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) > X Audio Compression Toolkit 2.18 (convert to aiff) > aiff > Bias Peak Pro 6.2.0.21692 (trimmed, normalized 3 db, split into tracks) > X Audio Compression Toolkit 2.18 (sector boundaries repaired, level 8 compression) > flac

Notes: Many of the 2012 Jazzfest broadcasts, including this one, are occasionally marred by what sounds like hard-drive glitches - perhaps due to a fragmented drive or an overloaded processor on the PC used at WWOZ during the broadcast. The glitchiness was also present in the WWOZ online stream. The glitches affect Track 2 in a couple of spots, including about 5:41 and 7:28 into the track. The glitches in this track COULD NOT be repaired as I had no clean source to draw from.

A 16.2-second station ID was removed at 9:18 into Track 2.

Elsewhere, a long (1:13) station ID was left intact, as removing it in this case seemed too obtrusive.

Finally, there is a 14.5-second splice from the mp3 streaming source at 7:58 into Track 4. There was a gap in the recording due to a necessary media change.
