Dug this out to compare with Sharontune's recent upload. I have it from a long ago trade & thought it was worth sharing.
goody's notes:
The speed/pitch of most of the source was OK. Pitch correction to only Tracks 7 & 8 was necessary.
Balancing the tracks meant largely raising the level of the Left Channel by various amounts to compensate for a much lower level. We gained more bottom in the process. Unfortunately, however, there's more audible hiss as a result, as it was muddy at the source to begin with. The tradeoff was worth it; that is, unless you, the listener, absolutely can't stand hiss, even if it exists as a result of getting more music in the mix. There is some ridiculously hot, passionate shredding in these tracks well worth many listens, despite the many flaws in the sound. My thanks to all involved in its preservation and presentation up til now.
