a this and that (and the other) production.
do not sell this recording.
share freely, losslessly and gaplessly.
original notes:
this was recorded on Philly (Pa.) area FM radio.
the broadcast was probably originally on WXRT-FM (Chicago)
"the unconcert" series, which is credited
after this broadcast in the radio credits,
or maybe on another station that got it from them.
in either case, this source appears to be an FM master reel recording
that's been sitting in someone's basement for over 30 years
who is nursing a sick Tandberg reel deck that no longer works.
thankfully the tape still plays. a fine live in studio set from the
latter days of the "Hymm of the 7th Galaxy" band (with Bill Connors)
and featuring the songs of that great album along with a few others.
thanks to AK for recording this fine early RTF set
and sharing it with me so I can share it.
it sounds like the full set is included here.
goody's additional notes:
thanks are due to TomP for his help with eq and phase offset realignment, and to ethiessen1 for his artwork for this edition.
additional thanks to all involved in the performance, capture and preservation of this archive.
