This is an excellent audience tape I got in a trade soon after the 97 tour , no idea who taped it or equipment used . I cleaned up some mic noise which was dropping in and out throughout, either the taper moving slightly or perhaps a air conditioning fan was moving across the mic occasionally as they can do.

other then that I have just applied a just a few level changes very mild mastering to and taken out applause that occurs over music or that was overloud .

The setlist in the circulating list missed out Genesis Hall,which caused me endless problems as i was a track extra, should have checked the cd cover !Anyway it is a beauty , in fact the whole show is a superb experience ,as all of these Danny Thompson shows proved to be.

The “three tenors” piss take of Waltzing Matilda is hilarious ,it became a staple of these shows when they were playing with Loudon Wainwright , as long as you are not a Pavarotti fan its very funny.
