Richard & Linda Thompson Band
May 31, 1982 (1982-05-31)
Parody Hall
Kansas City, Missouri, USA
Posted by request, this is a nice-sounding audience master from toward the end of the only Richard and Linda Thompson Band U.S. tour. This is a remaster from the previous seed of this show with various fixes in the tracking plus seamless removal of some micro-dropouts and a spot or more where adjustments were made to even out the levels.

More notes from the previous torrent of this show: We continue our look at the "Tour From Hell", as named by the band members, with an excellent audience recording from the last week of the tour in Kansas City. After Linda was originally told the tour would be 2 weeks to basically get her to agree to it and then at the end of 2 weeks being told it was in fact 4 weeks long she was likely emotionally drained and to me sounds a bit tired early on. The next night they played Boulder and then most likely LA, after which Linda went awol for a couple of shows in Santa Cruz on June 4th (staying with Linda Ronstadt), reappearing on the 6th for the San Francisco shows. Richard and band of course continue to sound great song after song.
