Richard Buckner
w/ Andrew Duplantis (acoustic bass, guitar and chord organ)
4th October, 2003

Another crystal clear Buck board - a really nice show, Buckner sounds pretty wasted and spent, his voice rolling the vowels and stretching the spaces.
He has Andrew Duplantis (from Son Volt) behind him on this one and that adds a nice differing sonic palette to the overall sound.
Highlights include a fuzzed-out Crazy Horse version of "Boys", a gorgeous slow and sultry version of "Faithful Shooter", an urgent, driven "Tom Merritt", a jammed-out nine minute "22" and a GREAT, GREAT version of "Love Will Tears Us Apart".

Thanks to all the uploaders who've made this Buckner flood such a delight.
If anyone has the Devotion and Doubt demos (early version) an upload would be greatly appreciated....
...also the 2/5/97 Great Ameican Music Hall show - I only have it in MP3, would love a lossless upgrade.
Thanks!
