This was one of my first reasonable shots at recording a show with a semi-decent Sony handheld that I first borrowed then bought my own after this came out Ok.

This was a small restaurant in Rochester with a very small stage area and tables that most everyone sat at. The handheld sat on the table to record.

Richard did 2 shows this night, I only attended the late show (if I had only known better) so this is from my Master recording of that show. No edits have been made so there is some tape hiss, bumps, audience, tape flips, etc. - but I still love listening to this show - you can be the judge but I think it's not too bad for an old analog. I did receive the first show years ago in a trade but I did not tape that one. If I remember correctly it is of similar quality and RT played mostly different songs for the first set (he eludes to that somewhat on this tape).

This has not been widely circulated. I have traded a few times and I have sent out as vines on a few other sites years ago but to my knowledge it has not been posted on Dime.

Let me know what you think of the quality - I have a few others with this deck from Hedges, Lou, etc.
