Richard Thompson Clown Time Stockholm FM 25 May 1994 and bonus
liberated boot Clown Time Is Over
Lineage: CDR > Nero Wav > TLH Flac
I obtained the CDR in a trade, (“gold for bronze” as Homer put it!?!).
A super boot in excellent sound quality and super-charged performance from the great Richard Thompson. I have acquired some tremendous RT uploads so wanted to give something back! From my researches this 1994 show has not appeared in any official release or on Dime though all ten songs from the Cirkus also appear in the Dime torrent for 94 I did find and in the official “FLYCD” both USA 1994 ( and both of which I missed sadly). So these songs were apparently the core of the 1994 set list. The bonus tracks are earlier but fit in well both in the set and aurally.

The boot, I am informed, contains officially released material: Track 15, "Turning of the Tide", which was released on the UK CD "Reckless Kind E.P." (Capitol CDCL 550) and on the UK Reckless Kind" 7"(Capitol CL550). This has been removed,
The Musicians
Richard Thompson acoustic and electric guitars, guitar synthesizer and vocals
Danny Thompson double bass
Dave Mattacks drums, percussion
Pete Zorn alto and soprano sax, mandolin, acoustic guitar, penny whistle and vocals
These credits are lifted from “two letter words” – same band but I cannot say all the instruments mentioned are played on this boot!
I Feel So Good is so good it is included twice – the last track from 94 a storming band version and again solo from 81 to conclude the disc
The Way That It Shows is less than seven mimutes but still packs in spectacular trade mark electric guitar.
