A wonderful night for Mr. Thompson. The Cactus Club is an intimate space - probably no more than 150 folks were there. I think the recording came out pretty nice for my first try.

Exquisite versions of Persuasion, Beeswing, 52 VBL, Down Where The Drunkards Roll and Galway To Graceland And yes, that's Hey Joe, a request. Richard asked for requests fairly early, which accounts for the insistent voice just behind me continually asking for "Withered and Died", to no avail, as well as a mercifully brief rendition of Age Of Aquarius.
