Hi everyone -
A friend kindly arranged for me to be at this show - and this was my first time seeing either Rich or Glen live and first time in Kings Theatre - a new gem in Brooklyn, just stunning-looking freshly renovated venue in a totally unlikely location :)
There were quite a few stresses at the beginning - not just not knowing anything about the place, but they were kind of late letting us in… Then I discovered that my seat was pretty far in the back… and that my stupid battery/bass roll-off unit bailed.
Thankfully, I ‘work well under stress’ :) - I got my set-up working perfectly without the bass roll-off just 10 min before Rich took the stage - and hey, this is not heavy metal - the tape turned out very nice, especially after BLG’s magic touch. The only issue at the beginning (given that this is also the opening set!) there were 3 young girls 2 rows directly ahead of me who were excessively chatty and running in and out… Actually, I couldn’t even tell if they were speaking english. Either way - I took advantage of some extra seats in my row and moved laterally :) They quieted down as well.
