Here is another of those SBD DAT’s that I found. The sound is perfect. All I did was delete some of the dead spots, adjust the volume on some of the tracks, enhanced the audience during the sing alongs, and separated the tracks with a fade out and fade in between the discs. At the end it sounds like the show is over but they come back. I left those dead spots in to capture the feel of the show………

What a show! Rick Danko was headlining a show at The Village Gate in New York. There were also several local groups on the bill. If you know who these folks are you won’t believe the show. If you don’t know who these groups are you won’t believe this show. Rick is in top form and decides to include everyone who played prior to his set in the show. As Rick says “We are going to start out slow and easy then build it up until we drive you crazy”. It starts out with Rick and Sredni Vollmer (harp) doing a few songs together, then he brings out all the groups one by one. Without introduction they just start playing when they feel it is right. If you like Rick Danko this is a must have. Even if you haven't heard him you will love this performance....guaranteed!
