Comments:

Another show that I taped up close! Stood right in front of the band, around 5-10 feet back. This place is not a proper concert venue and hard to describe the layout - either you stood right in front or you stood way off to the side or far back, with a staircase in the middle of the floor in front of the band.

Awesome to see the legendary Rick Derringer in a small place like this, only a few miles from my house. The venue is (I think) a community hall for a development known as "Birchwood", and isn't really a concert venue per se.

If I got the story right, the opening band (THE ROADIES), setup this show and did several of these events in the 1990's and early 2000's, booking old classic rockers like Mark Farner or Derringer. I don't know if they still do anything like that, or at least I've not heard of anything recently.

This show featured Rick in a jamming good mood, and two of the songs aren't even songs afaik, just jams. This is before Rick "was saved", so it features him doing his songs with their original lyrics, praise God (pun intended).
