Comments:

Very nice sounding show, another great taping job by "the dude". Derringer opened up this show for Edgar Winter and we would have had that audio as well, but "the dude" got busted after Derringer's set and thrown out. Somehow he was able to hang on to his Derringer tape, using some quick sleight of hand before he got tossed. Hard to believe, but someone sitting at the table he was at complained about him "bootlegging" to the powers that be. Some people I guess have no idea that most tapers are out there recording for the love of the music and for sharing the stuff with other music lovers, to preserve a live moment for posterity to be enjoyed by other fans, not to sell it for a profit.

I should point out that at this show Rick changes the words to some of his classic songs in order to proclaim his newly found Christian faith. If you are a Christian preacher you probably think that's really great, but to the average heathen rock fan it's more like sacrilege. If you find it offensive being preached to about Jesus Christ in the lyrics of what used to be classic rock songs you might want to skip this show.

Enjoy!
