Notes: Having previously seen Paul McCartney, my wife and I set it as a goal a few years back to see Ringo the next time he
came through Denver - I saw him at Fiddlers Green back in 1997 (anyone have a recording of that show??), but, she had never
seen him and we wanted to "tick that box" as it were.

Not totally bowled over by the announced All-Starr band, we still agreed that this was a show we would want to see, and it
did not disappoint. A sold out (or close to sold out) venue, with everyone being wanded at the door (which was a first for
me at the Paramount), the show began a few minutes before eight with no opening act, and was over before 10 - we walked in
the door to my house before 10:30, which isn't bad for a concert on a work night!

Matchbox makes a great opening tune, and I was pleased to see that Ringo is emphasising his Beatle songs; I thought Todd was
great on his three songs (I've never seen him before, but, consider myself a fan), the Santana songs were surprisingly good,
and, while not a Toto fan, those songs played well to the crowd. I thought the Mr. Mister songs kind of stuck out in there
inappropriate placement - I will admit that I have their hit album and have always liked those songs, but, they really are not
a good fit with the other songs on the playlist.

What was readily apparent is how much these guys enjoy playing together; the stage banter was overflowing with gushing sent-
iment about how honored they all are to play with the legend Ringo, but, also for how much they connect as a band together.
Lukather and Rundgren playfully pushing each other around; Rundgren and Page gleefully jumping in synch to the rhythm; Page
and Lukather cramming themselves onto Ringo's platform to jam out. It really made for an entertaining show.

As always, this recording would not have been possible if not for the unending patience and support of my wonderful wife.
I attached the mike to her shirt and handed her the recorder during 'Africa' whilst I had a bathroom break, which I took back
upon my return. There's a bit of rustle here and there, but, I was otherwise undisturbed - I did have security standing next
to me much of the show, helping people to their seats, so, the talking you hear in places is largely them. The recording is a
wee quiet, but, otherwise came out quite nicely.

Finally: please don't sell the recording, but, otherwise, do with it what you wish. Share it, and spread the gospel - these
and other greats will not be around forever, so, let's enjoy them while we have them. Best wishes to all of the fans out
there and Namaste.
