Due to the superior acoustics of the Birchmere, this is a better recording than Leesburg (Vol 151), but it's a much shorter show. The set list was identical, except they dropped Alabama Song, My Eyes Have Seen You, Spanish Caravan, Roadhouse Blues, People Are Strange, and Soul Kitchen. The crowd was smaller on this rainy Tuesday night (and less enthusiastic, as pointed out by Waylon), perhaps due to the band scheduling three shows in four days within a 40 mile radius of DC.
