Total Time ::: 44:44

::: VERY fine stereo AUD. Check samples for beg off validity or for a pinch or a puff.
::: Warts: #1 starts late, #8 is only the last 1/4 of the suite, #10 cuts a few seconds in. Fixed many dullspots & dropouts but surely missed a few & a couple didn't lend themselves to easy fixin'. A few (mostly repaired) mike bumps.
::: Robert Hunter & Comfort opened for the Jerry Garcia Band, both early & late shows.
::: Presumably this be the incomplete (minus about 3 songs?) early show - but 'tain't verified.
::: While the Garcia shows are listed on db.etree.org, the Comfort sets are not. Other lists online seem screwed up, as the list the same setlist for both early & late shows. I believe they have the late show.
::: Being the virtual epicenter of the world's Dead Taper Zone, it seems more than certain that one of you fine folk out there has masters for both early & late sets. It would be great to have them transfered & about.

DimeTravel109 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! ::: Corrections welcome ::: Ah, yes... the Passaic Capitol Theatre. Quite a joint to be at in the 70s. First time I went there we spotted the Marquee from the highway while hitchhiking, went to a show with no idea where we were going to stay afterwards. Got outta the gig & stood on the street corner asking people leaving the show if they could put us up! Finally some gal took pity on us & asked her mum when she arrived to pick her up. They kindly gave us some floor space in their living room & took us back out to the highway the next morning. Good deed! Then I remember going to see Tuna & Garcia & the like & wandering around in Passaic on foot. We were warned that even in groups we could be really safe... Anyway, all that's an aside to the main show. Anyone who follows the obsessed personalities that keep reappearing with "new" Hunter material will likely realised that I am more than an idle fan - I've only the greatest respect for the guy. I think the guy is/was far more than just a superb songwriter. This 70s material with Comfort is the business. The man performed straight from his heart. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yers truly, Knees
