A multi-media event arranged by Richard Brender, who put on shows in the Pacific Northwest in the 1980s and 90s, including several Robert Hunter shows in Seattle. Katie Johntz is his sister.

This new transfer using better equipment brings out some of the flaws in the recording, including tiny 'pops' that originated with the mics or the poets as they spoke. Also, although the cassette was marked "no Dolby" there was a lot of hiss and it sounded unnaturally bright as if Dolby had been used. The recording was therefore decoded using Dolby C.

This tape came from Caroline Welch (a/k/a Carlisle) who passed away in July 2008 and is still missed. A video exists and has been synced to DVD by the inestimable Kevin Tobin using a prior transfer of these cassettes.

Enjoy!
