This version enclosed was posted a few years ago, and has been approved by the Mods in order to give everyone the opportunity to get the COMPLETE concert including Monogamy. Below the original text of my post.
Anybody who is a fan of musical diversity MUST download and listen to this concert. If you are a
Robert Palmer fan, you will be in heaven. If you don't like or don't care about Robert Palmer, you
will be amazed at how good this concert is. He switches fluently from rock to funk to pop to rap to
punk to crooner-type songs, and it ALL SOUNDS GREAT! Half of the songs are covers ranging from
Jermaine Jackson to Husker Du, from Connie Francis to Kurtis Blow, not to mention ZZ Top... I have
never heard a concert by anyone with better pacing between up tempo, slower songs, and back again.
The buildup in the 2nd half of the concert from the slow songs on is devastating.
I know the lineage sounds crazy, but the recording still stands up to the test of time. I have never
found this concert on any bootleg CD, unfortunately, as that would be the holy grail. This is the
last night of the tour, the broadcast is live, the band is hot, it's raining, the drummer explodes
on stage during Addicted to Love, YOU GOTTA HEAR IT!
Bonus tracks include Power Station's only ever performance with the original lineup from Satuday Night
Live in February 16, 1985. Don't ask about the lineage, but the performance is unbelievable. If only they
would have toured...
