An good quality audience recording...not perfect, but I couldn't make it sound any better, and as the
notes below state some work had already been done on it. So I left it as is, the only changes I have made is
to this text file, so any downloaders who grabbed this last time can help seed if they like.

As with the recent Birmingham 89 recording, it's not perfect quality, but while there are familiar songs
here the arrangements differ here and there, nice sounds on Woke Up Laughing for example.

He throws what sounds like another Carlos Jobim song (he covered Izara in the Houston 1986 gig), I can't
make out the name of the song though. It segues gently into "Between Us".

Enjoy

ORIGINAL TORRENT NOTES :

"Tape provided by Jetrell69, Ripped by Eeklair

Eeklair notes:

An almost complete Robert Palmer show from his top-of-the-pop-world-hey-day.

From a TDK D90, Tape was ripped @ 24/96 dithered to 16/44.1

Applied some EQ, Hiss Reduction, then finally some multiband compression to make it sound not so distant. Track 15 had problems with the right channel, so I combined the better left channel to the right which achieved a mono result, so I tried to give it a false stereo.. The track is problematic at best. then track 16 cuts in about 3/4 the way thru...

Overall a fun listen.

Enjoy

Passaic, NJ 12th October 79 FM - even longer version. There's a short version in one mix (pre FM), a longer FM version (45 minutes), but I know there's another FM version which is over 80 minutes long, hope someone can share it in lossless form

Robert Palmer live Nijmegen Holland 15 Oct 1980 FM - The song I Dream of Wires from this gig is missing from the version I received (and shared on here) recently, but it has circulated, so someone has it!

Robert Palmer live Le Palace, Paris 10 June 1983 - Soundboard recording

Robert Palmer live London, the Town and Country 1991 *BBC* broadcast version. Not the more common Westwood One radio network or 'Feel The Heat' CD version - The BBC version was much better.

DVD

Live in Tokyo 1986 - this has been on youtube in stereo...someone must have a non-compressed version? If not a rip of the soundtrack (in stereo, preferably uncompressed as it's very well recorded, under the compression effects I heard on youtube).

UB40 - Sing The Blues. Documentary inc 1989 footage which includes Robert singing with them.

If Dime torrenting isn't your thing, there are other options...uploading through other forms, CDR by mail etc, let's get more circulating here!
