Robert Palmer
House of Blues Radio Hour
hosted by Dan Akroyd (as Elwood Blues)
Show #03-47, week of Nov. 22-23, 2003
Excellent pre-FM recording
(talk segments only; officially-relased music portions omitted)
Here's another fine Robert Palmer recording I received from fellow DIME member dlloyd77 back in 2010 that I'm finally getting around to torrenting for others' enjoyment. Many thanks again for the superb generosity, my friend!
This radio show from Nov. 2003 was only 2 short months after Robert Palmer's surprising death at age 54 (from a heart attack) on Sept. 26, 2003. A good portion of the program centers around his 2003 album, "Drive."
For this torrent, I used CD Wave to split the three large WAV files contained on the CDR into smaller talk/song segments. I also removed the commercials that were included in the original version. Lastly, the CDR included a separate track from the show's promo; that's included here as track 01.

Additional lineage (from TheCommish):
CDR > Exact Audio Copy > WAV > CD Wave (to split tracks) > FLAC FrontEnd (sb-aligned) > FLAC
If you decide to download this torrent, won't you please consider posting a comment on the board? It only takes a moment, and believe me, it takes A LOT longer to prepare/upload a show for others to enjoy than it does to download and run.
And won't you please consider thanking dlloyd77 for this fine Robert Palmer recording?
