Comments: A fine recording from Hobbes4444, which he generously offered to share with the Dime community. There are no surprises in the setlist (I don't know that there were any on this tour) but a solid performance overall, building from the haunting melodies of "Rich Woman" and "Quatro" and peaking with the Zeppelin songs and other covers at the end. Well into his 70's, this band (particularly Alison) has brought the best out of Robert.
In terms of sound, the fidelity is great. There is some enthusiastic clapping and cheering between songs, but nothing that would interfere with the music itself. Outstanding sound and a very enjoyable listen.
Note, this source is new to Dime -- it is different from the source that was shared here a couple of years ago.
Also included are a dozen or so photos from the show, a snip of the review from the "Illinois Entertainer," and an image of the ticket stub (remember those?).
Many thanks to Chicagoblues for taping and offering to share this. I was just the helper who tracked it. Mp3 samples attached in the comments.
