Review of the show from TBL: http://www.tightbutloose.co.uk/rp191000.html

Priory of Brion was a band formed by Robert Plant with Kevyn Gammond, who was with Robert in his pre-Zep band Band of Joy. The other members of the band were students of Kevyn's from Kidderminster College. For more details of the project see here: http://www.robertplanthomepage.com/priory_of_brion/priory_of_brion.htm

The songs played were almost entirely cover versions of songs that had influenced Robert prior to his joining Led Zeppelin

Because the shows were advertised only as Priory of Brion with no publicity about Robert playing the band could play in very small venues (this one had around 500 people in the audience). Recordings which exist are therefore usually excellant and this one is no exception.
