After seeing Robert Randolph at Crossroads I had to make sure I saw him
this time around. Last time I had tickets the show was cancelled and the
other two appearances didn't fit my schedule. This was a benefit for the
Blue Bear School of Music. The opening part of the show was the kids
playing short sets. Some of the kids were really good and others a bit less
so. Was very cool watching them perform in front of a crowd at a club. The
only thing disappointing is the place was far from full. After a short break
Robert Randolph came out and played a very solid set. One one song two of
the boys came out to jam with the band and the final song featured two
girls who sang in the earlier bands. Excellent sound, no annoying crowd, but
no encore.
