NOTE: This 2017 Mk2 better pitch corrected version is a slight upgrade over the 2013 "Mk1" CoolSonics upload.

Robin & Barry Dransfield
1987-xx-xx Hastings, East Sussex, England Western Port Festival (Mk2-M1-FM)

~!~ Mk2 version, mostly identical but with better pitch (speed) correction ~!~

01. Grey Funnel Line
02. Jezebel Waltz
03. Rout Of The Blues
04. Holmfirth Anthem

Total Time ::: 14:41

::: EXC quality stereo FM. Check samples if you be dubious or for a few sh*ts & giggles.
::: Warts: None really, but too short. Spot o' hiss appears on #4 but it ain't no problem. Great recording.
::: Hastings Day became the Western Port Festival in 1987.
::: Festival was in February or March & broadcast on BBC "Folk On 2" 1987-08-26.
::: Some DJ talking deleted as it merely detracted from the music.
::: Possibly billed as "The Dransfields".
::: COMPARISON CLAUSE: New 2017 Mk2 pitch corrected version which supercedes the 2013 CoolSonics 278 "Mk1" upload.
::: This new Mk2 version has slight but noticeable pitch correction & is more enjoyable.

DimeTravel 348::: Thanks to the original taper & trader! ::: Corrections welcome ::: Well, always hoping there's more & sometimes it appears in me own stacks. So it goes. I think they call it "obsessive compulsive taper disorder" & I seem to have suffered a bad case of it for most of my life. Of course, now it's called "obscenely obsessive compulsive byte disorder". I hear they have medication, but then... how would I spend my time? Doing something constructive? No thanks! Anyway, here's another by the Brit folk masters themselves. Highly recommended you pool these assorted Dransfields things I've put out there & have a little party. Outstanding music. They're strictly acoustic here & playing it safe, but the quality makes up for it. Very fine. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
