comments:
this is a nice recording and a full show of Robin Trower. Inspired by another fine Joe Maloney
master recording of the 11/8/74 Trower Boston show, I decided to share this which I think was
the next Trower show in Boston after that one. This is almost as good sound as that one is,
recorded fairly close up with a Sony 152 cassette deck, a Maxell XLII and no dolby. The tape was
flipped just before Althea. All the songs are complete and uninterrupted. I don't know if this one
has been seeded here before or not from this or another source, probably not from this one, and
think fans of Robin Trower will enjoy the sound and performance here. The singer says thanks alot
after almost every song and compliments the crowd enthusiasm. Fortunately you don't hear alot of
crowd noise in the recording, just an enthusiastic show and appreciative audience. The only
Trower show I ever saw was Boston Music Hall 1976 which was shared here on dime by Steve Hopkins
(also a nice recording and concert), but this is probably my favorite Trower concert. The band
sounds very tight and inspired throughout this show, and the earlier songs are my favorites of
theirs (that's a common theme for me with 70's rock bands). Sounds like the crowd had a very nice
time at this show, hope you have many nice times hearing it.
Do not sell this recording.
Trade freely and losslessly.
