I saw this show almost 20 years ago and it was excellent. A friend of
mine and I helped the taper by watching out for security and were rewarded
with a 1st gen copy of the tape. Robin was on fire that night and in the
spirit of the recent flood of Trower shows here, I wanted to share this
really fine show with you guys to help pay back all of the fine tapers
who upped some great shows here as of late. Herewith a brief description
of the recording...

First, the good points:

1) As mentioned above, this recording is complete.

2) There is virtually NO talking, shrieking or any
other audience bullshit on this recording. The taper
was surrounded by polite, quiet, respectful audience
members who were there for the music and not to hear
themselves talk. You'll rarely hear my friend and I
discussing the task at hand and we spoke VERY softly.

3) There is no distortion present. There are no speed problems
or any other serious faults to prevent you from enjoying this
show.

4) This is a very clear recording. The vocals & instruments
come through very clearly and distinctly. Graffiti, may it
rest in peace, was a relatively small nightclub that would
seat ~ 200-300 people PACKED, so just about any seat in the
house was good for taping. If one stood on the stage, we were
at stage left, first row of the balcony about 2/3 of the way
back towards the stairs. If you were ever at Graffiti, you'll
know where we were.

Second, the (very minor) bad points:

1) The on-stage banter is sometimes a little hard to understand.
I think that it's mostly the lead singer's accent.

2) Day Of The Eagle cuts in. There's very little missing which
is the result of a tape flip. There is a "weld" in Into The Flame
during the last 2 minutes which is the result of a tape swap. Very
little music is missing and the weld is easy to overlook.

So there you have it. This is the raw recording that I've had lo
these many years. I changed NOTHING about this recording except
to track it and to do the aforementioned "welds". This show fits
on 2 74 min. CDs. CD 1 = Tracks 1 - 6. CD 2 = Tracks 7 - 13. That's
about all that I can think of to say, so let's wrap this up.

Finally, please don't buy, sell or convert this show to mp3 or any other
lossy format. Please seed this as long as you can. Please trade
this freely as it almost certainly is uncirculated. This show will be a
welcome addition to any Robin Trower fan's collection. I will post a
sample to help some of you decide whether or not to download it. Trower
had just released Take What You Need and plays a few songs from that album.
As you can see, the setlist is fantastic. I don't think that any Trower
fan will regret downloading this one. So, as Mr. Natural is so fond of
saying, have fun, don't freak out and enjoy the concert !
