having just arrived back from Melbourne at noon and after seeing ( and drinking to ) six musical acts in four days, I was somewhat knackered at first but the music soon put that right. Overall although we were annoyed by the talking it hasn't proved loud enough to detract from the show, which was mostly excellent . Robyn's set is stellar,he really ripped into the material. The pairing of the two singer songwriters generally worked really well, Steve seemed a little nervous ( no doubt overawed a bit by Robyn's prodigious ability to improvise freely both verbally and musically . The small audience ( 120 maximum ), was disappointing, but the vast majority were entranced and attentive and the musicians came back for two well received encores. Hopefully they will return but this must have been a loss making gig.
