Good recording from Rod's current STILL THE SAME tour. I would give this sound about a
B- or a 6.5 to 7.The sound is a bit muffled, almost like there is a filter on. Also some
negative points of interest are:
- the Rodfather intro at the beginning is missing, it wasn't recorded
- the first minute or so of DOWNTOWN TRAIN is missing
- there is a small gap between HOT LEGS and I WAS ONLY JOKING
- the opening second or so of MAGGIE MAY is missing

Rod's voice is in good form. He sounds like he is having a blast. This is the first recording on DIME
I believe where he opens with YOU WEAR IT WELL instead of TONIGHT I'M YOURS. Notable on here for Rod fans
is I WAS ONLY JOKING. Before singing IT'S A HEARTACHE, Rod tell the audience he's waited a long time to
"get my teeth into this one". After RHYTHM OF MY HEART, Rod starts to talk to the audience while the band
starts up YOUNG TURKS. Rod stops the band and admonishes them, telling them he wants to talk to the audience.
They start YOUNG TURKS over. There is an extended intro for FOREVER YOUNG as Rod lets the audience clap along
for awhile.
This is not the best recording, but it's certainly not the worst I've ever heard either. If you decide to try it,
ENJOY!
